ASB Book Club

All Saints bookgroup just celebrated another wonderful year. We read many different genres of
books this year and have a few goods reads planned. We usually have 10 -12 members
at a meeting. Our book choices are as different as we are. This past year we read
classics, new books, poetry, and light fun reads. No matter what we read the discussions
were thoughtful and lively. We took a day trip to The Emily Dickinson Museum. Just
to give you an idea of how much I like my book group, I never would have read Lessons
in Chemistry if not for this group. It did not sound interesting to me. I loved this
book! It was funny! It was historically correct about life (especially for women) in the
50’s. River Woman River Demon got us out of our comfort zone. This is a book I’m
glad we read for that reason. AAAH….a good book a cup of tea and friends to talk with. What could be
better. Join us on the last Monday of each month. We meet at 6:30 in the community
room. The meetings last about 1 hour
